This product is our main focus at Sound Workshop, we aim to ship in 6-24 months. In order to get to first customer ship, we are preselling up to 100 units to raise at least $75k. This money will be used to purchase one time expenses like manufacturing tools, test fixtures, consulting fees, and minimum order quantities.
Preorder customers receive a 15% thank you discount for trusting in our business and mission. $1480 is an upper bound for the full price, if we lower the price we will send partial refunds to compensate.
We are unable to show you the final look of the production design at this time. While building in the open, we do want to keep some things back for surprises. Please look at Quord and Wiggler for some ideas about what the production PT2 might look like. This purchase offering is for people who trust our judgement and are ready to jump in. Chris will personally check with each preorder customer after we release the final look to confirm that it’s a good fit. If it doesn’t feel right, we can cancel the order and send a full refund.

There will be an execution checkpoint after we raise our minimum target ($75k) and release our final production design. Before this checkpoint, presale customers can request a full refund at any time. If we do not reach this checkpoint we will automatically cancel all orders and issue full refunds.
Chris will call every preorder customer to confirm and chat before moving into the execution phase.
The intent here is to provide a 15% discount. We have not set the retail price for PT2 yet. If the retail price is less that $1480, we will send out partial refunds to compensate.
